Using those water and ink squeezy brush pens again! This amazing decorated stone is from Sweden, via the brilliant book The Megalithic European by Julian Cope. Julian is a rock singer, author and self taught archaeology expert. He links art, archaology, spirituality and the importance of landscape and place. It interests me how early human art has similar elements whether from Scotland, or Sweden or from Africa or Australia. Patterns and symbols, possibly for contemplation or meditation.
