Spring Wardrobe Declutter

It feels like spring is on its way at last! And that means spring clothes. And the seasonal wardrobe declutter.

What’s going?

Slightly tight pale green cashmere cardi, donation to Leen
White tshirt, with pasta sauce mark on hem
Pair jeans which are very stretched/baggy around body
Brown 70s skirt from ebay, just don’t really like brown

What’s arriving? (to buy or make)

Replacement jeans, maybe black
New white tshirt
Navy fabric with white elephant pattern to make summer skirt
Comfy flat spring shoes

On a recent trip to London, I trawled the excellent charity shops in Chiswick. Acquired a blue cotton shirt formerly from Cos and a black jersey dress ex Jasper Conran at Debenhams. I try to buy good brands second hand or they are already worn out.

Ok so I found the items on my list:

Lee Jeans from John Lewis last day of sale £85 to £25. I really wanted non stretch but apparently these have ‘good recovery’. Only vintage jeans seem to be non stretch these days. Might be on ebay.
White tshirt from Laura Ashley £22. Had to be v neck, had to be thick cotton.
Black leather flat shoes very comfy from Clarks £45. So comfy with an elastic bit around the opening so they stay on.
Also bought red jersey dress with Japanese wave pattern in White Stuff, total impulse buy £35 from £50.
